Paul Kania
Mr. Kania is a registered Certified Public Accountant with the State of New York and has over 14 years in accounting and finance, is the Founder of PLK Accounting & Finance Inc., which provides CFO and Board services to publicly listed entities. Prior to founding PLK, Mr. Kania worked as an auditor at firms such as MNP LLP in Toronto, and Berdon LLP in New York City, before joining Brookfield Asset Management as a manager in their Corporate Finance department. Mr. Kania graduated with an HBA in Economics and Philosophy from the University of Toronto and has a Finance and Accounting Certificate from Ryerson University.
Deena Siblock
Ms. Deena Siblock has distinguished herself as a leader in corporate governance, communications, and risk management, demonstrating exceptional commitment and passion throughout her career. She has served as Chief Operating Officer, Vice President, Corporate Development and Corporate Secretary as well as a member of the Steering Committee and the Nominating, Governance and Compensation Committee for various public and private companies.
Mehdi Azodi
Mehdi Azodi has more than 20 years of experience in the investment industry and capital markets. He brings extensive expertise in public and private equity and debt financings and has served in various roles. Mr. Azodi is a director of public and private companies in Canada and United States.
Jason Batista
Mr. Jason Batista is a highly experienced and commercially astute financial services professional with over 15 years of experience in banking and investment management, combined with corporate development, corporate communications, and commercial strategy. Certified Chartered Investment Manager; he is currently President of TBJ Consulting which provides a suite of services including corporate development, investment management, and investor relations. Mr. Batista will serve as a member of the Audit Committee.
John Zorbas
Mr. Zorbas is an entrepreneur with a proven track record in the metals exploration and development industry and in the investment banking industry. He has held senior advisory positions in various facets of business including operations, marketing, sales, strategic planning and structured finance.
Mr. Zorbas is the CEO of Captor Capital Corp. since August 2018. He also serves as URU Metals Ltd. (Captor Capital Investment) Chief Executive Officer since June 2014. He was appointed a Director of Zeb Nickel Corp., a PGE mining and exploration company, in November 2021. He also served as the director of Powertap Hydrogen Capital Corp. and President of MGM Productions Group Inc., a company focused on media and retail investments, Chairman of Management Resource Solutions PLC, as well as Director of both ZorCorp Capital Holdings and Stairline Capital Holdings Infrastructure Fund. He served as the Chief Executive Officer and a Director of Monchhichi PLC (former: Mercom Capital PLC) as well as the Director of Stratton Capital Corp. He is a founding shareholder of Asian Coast Development Ltd. Mr. Zorbas holds an Honors Bachelors in Economics from University of Toronto.
